ACCESSIBILITY

Komodo Airport, also known as Labuan Bajo Airport, is located 2 km from Labuan Bajo town centre and welcomes daily flights from Jakarta, Bali, Lombok, Kupong and Surabaya. The airport has been managed by the Singapore Changi Airport Consortium under a 25-year concession commencing in 2021.

It is being expanded to include a new international terminal and cargo complex and a longer runway with capacity for more international flights. It is in discussion for direct flights from Singapore, Australia and Malaysia.

Tapping into the Changi Airport expertise, the government is planning to grow its passenger arrivals from 600,000 pre-pandemic to 4 million in 10 years' time.
